Your workshop leaders are Bob Copeland and Jason Kinch. Both graduates of Brooks Institute where they met in the late '70's and both have had successful 40+ year photographic careers since graduation.

Jason began his career as an in-house corporate photographer where he photographed a very wide variety of assignments. After 15 years he moved out of the corporate environment to open his own studio near Portland, Oregon. For the next 26 years, Jason created images for Fortune 500 companies, regional ad agencies, and cutting edge technology startups. Even with his always busy shooting schedule, he regularly made time to mentor local high school photography students. Currently Jason never misses an opportunity to travel far or wide, fueling his growing passion for seeking out unique scenes and beautiful landscapes to create compelling images.

Bob started his career as an ophthalmic photographer where he performed fundus photography and fluoresine angiography on patient's retinas and worked directly with doctors to determine effective treatments or surgeries. After 8 years in the medical photography field, Bob opened and successfully operated his portrait studio near Chattanooga, Tennessee for the next 16 years. For many many years Bob has traveled extensively photographing stunning landscapes, creating images in his unique and painterly style. Beginning in 2003 he began selling his images at juried art shows across the United States. In 2005 Bob lead his first photography workshop.
